Here is a sneak peak of one of my favourite rule turned habit, that truly changed my life.
I call it the 'One touch rule' and I swear by it. Not only does it keep my desktop clutter free but it gives me clarity and peace of mind that every file on my computer has a purpose and location! Gone are the days where you are searching through a mass of unlabelled documents and downloads for that one important file you downloaded weeks ago.
When a new file is downloaded, immediately categorise and move it to the appropriate folder.
You can also adjust your Chrome/Safari browser settings to help you do this better!
