GTB Membership Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) outline the expectations and guidelines for engaging with Girls Talk Business (GTB) services, website, and memberships. By purchasing a membership or using our resources, you agree to the following terms:

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Upon purchasing a membership plan, you will receive access to the benefits specified in your chosen plan. The extent of access varies based on the level of membership (Growth, Premium, or Impact). Detailed benefits for each membership are listed on our website.
MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

Cancellation by Member:
If you wish to cancel your membership, please do so through our website. Upon cancellation, your profile and business information will be removed from our platform, including any social media promotions.-
Monthly Memberships: Cancellation is immediate, with no prorated refunds.

Yearly Memberships: Refunds are available within the first 5 days (100%) or up to 25 days (50%). No refunds are provided after 30 days.

Cancellation by GTB:
GTB reserves the right to terminate a membership at any time. If possible, we will notify you via email and provide an explanation.
UPDATING DIRECTORY INFORMATION

Premium & Impact Members:
You are responsible for keeping your directory profile up-to-date. This includes ensuring all business links, contact information, and descriptions are accurate. GTB does not proofread or verify the information submitted.-
One free update is allowed per year. Additional updates will incur a $20 fee.

For incorrect links provided by you, corrections will incur a $10 fee. If GTB mistakenly publishes an incorrect link, we will correct it and repost your information at no additional cost.

LIABILITY
GTB and its founder, Ines Curin, are not responsible for:

Any financial loss resulting from promotional posts, business listings, or content shared via GTB platforms.

A lack of engagement on posts or directories. While we strive to provide maximum visibility, outcomes depend on several external factors.
CONTENT & PROMOTIONS

GTB may use your provided business information to promote your services across our platforms, including the GTB website, Facebook group, and social media.

Members grant GTB the right to edit and feature content for promotional purposes, such as "Spotlight" or "Highlight" features.

Impact Members agree to share event materials (e.g., slides, workbooks) and allow GTB to record and share these events on our platforms. GTB retains ownership of recorded content.
AFFILIATE LINKS POLICY
Members are prohibited from sharing affiliate links or engaging in affiliate promotions across any GTB platforms, including the Facebook group, website, or private messages. Violations may lead to removal from the community.
REFUNDS
Refunds for membership cancellations are handled as follows:

Monthly Memberships: Cancellation is immediate, with no prorated refunds.

Yearly Memberships: Refunds are only available within the first 5 days (100%) or up to 25 days (50%). No refunds are provided after 30 days.

No refunds are issued for a change of mind or dissatisfaction after this period.
TRACKING & ANALYTICS
Membership does not include tracking or analytics for promotional posts. Feedback may be provided upon request. For additional services, such as analytics reports, please email info@girlstalkbusiness.com for pricing.
EVENT HOSTING (Impact Members)

Impact Members who host workshops or events agree to collaborate with GTB in developing promotional materials.

GTB will create and share promotional flyers, a 30-second event clip, and a full recording for use on the GTB YouTube channel.

Members must ensure all content provided for the event is original and free of copyright issues.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
By submitting content (e.g., business listings, event materials, or promotional assets) to GTB, members grant GTB a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute this content for promotional purposes. Members retain full ownership of their original work and can request removal from GTB platforms at any time by contacting info@girlstalkbusiness.com.
PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Members must not engage in activities that disrupt the functionality of GTB platforms or negatively impact other users. This includes, but is not limited to:

Posting harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

Engaging in spamming or unsolicited promotions outside designated threads.

Attempting to hack or breach GTB’s digital infrastructure."
TECHNICAL ISSUES
GTB is committed to maintaining the functionality of its website and resources. However, occasional technical disruptions may occur. Members experiencing access issues should contact GTB support at info@girlstalkbusiness.com. Refunds will not be provided for temporary technical outages."
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
We value transparency and aim to resolve disputes amicably. If any disputes arise in connection with your membership, services, or interactions with Girls Talk Business (GTB), we encourage you to first reach out to us directly at info@girlstalkbusiness.com so we can address your concerns.

Mediation First Approach

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will first be submitted to mediation.

Mediation will be conducted by an independent mediator agreed upon by both parties. The cost of mediation will be shared equally between GTB and the member.

Jurisdiction for Legal Claims

If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, claims may be submitted to the appropriate courts under the jurisdiction outlined in the "Governing Law" section below.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

Any legal disputes or claims must be brought before the courts located in Auckland, New Zealand.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts for resolving disputes.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Members are expected to read and understand these T&Cs. Ignorance of the terms does not absolve you from them.

GTB reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Updates will take effect immediately upon posting on our website.

For Premium and Impact Members, keeping your directory profile accurate is essential, as it plays a vital role in showcasing your business to the Girls Talk Business audience. Here's how we manage updates and ensure the accuracy of your information:

How to Update
You can update your business information at any time via the "About Page" in the Members Portal. This includes your business name, description, website links, and contact details. Regular updates ensure your profile remains relevant and professional. -
Your Responsibility
It’s your responsibility to proofread and verify all submitted details. GTB does not provide proofreading services. Ensure all business links are accurate and functioning properly before submitting your information. -
Annual Complimentary Updates

You are entitled to one free profile update per year.

For any additional updates beyond the complimentary one, there is a $20 fee per request, payable before changes are made.

Requests for Updates
All update requests should be sent to info@girlstalkbusiness.com. Include the exact details you wish to change. We will process and confirm updates within 7 business days after payment is received (if applicable). -

Your directory listing is a key benefit of Premium and Impact Memberships, providing your business with increased visibility and credibility. Regularly reviewing and updating your profile will ensure it continues to reflect your current offerings and values.
