Rules for All Members

By being part of GTB, you agree to these guidelines to keep our group safe, supportive, and beneficial for everyone.

1. Be Kind, Respectful, and Helpful

This is a safe and supportive space for women. Share insights, give constructive feedback, and help others grow.

2. No Self-Promotion or Spam

Self-promotion is only allowed in designated threads:

  • #FeatureFriday

  • #WelcomeThread

3. What Counts as Self-Promotion?

  • Selling anything (products, services, events, etc.)

  • Promoting your website, social profiles, or webinars

  • Posting affiliate links or surveys

  • Sharing content with your branding (e.g., photos with business names, logos)

  • Privately messaging members to sell or promote

Violations may result in removal from the group. Report any such behaviour to info@girlstalkbusiness.com.

4. Promotion Opportunities

Use the #AdFriday and #WelcomeThread to share your business, offers, or links.

5. Job Postings

Feel free to share job opportunities or hiring posts—just be clear about how to apply.

6. No Spam or Overly Promotional Content

Posts that feel like "sugar-coated sales pitches" or blog-length content will be removed. Keep your contributions concise and valuable.

7. No Affiliate Links

Affiliate links are not allowed unless pre-approved by admins.

8. Respect Privacy

Do not private message admins for group-related questions. Instead, email info@girlstalkbusiness.com.

9. No Hate Speech or Bullying

This is a zero-tolerance group for any form of discrimination, bullying, or harassment.

10. Stay on Topic

Posts must be relevant to women entrepreneurs and the goals of this group.

11. No MLMs

Multi-level marketing posts or promotions are not allowed.

12. No Affiliate Links or Promotions

  • What’s Not Allowed: Sharing affiliate links or promoting third-party products/services for commissions within the group, whether through posts, comments, or private messages, is strictly prohibited.

  • Why This Rule Exists: Our focus is on genuine connections and support—not on sales pitches or outside promotions.

  • What Happens If You Break This Rule: Posts or comments containing affiliate links will be deleted. Repeated violations may result in removal from the group.

13. No Surveys Without Approval

Survey-style posts and curiosity polls ("What's your biggest challenge?") are not permitted.

How to Shine in GTB

  • Show up with the intention to connect and support, not to sell.

  • Contribute meaningfully—ask questions, share insights, and engage with others.

  • Use the Search function before posting questions to avoid repetition.

  • Share your success stories—they inspire and uplift the community.

  • Avoid posting the same content across multiple groups—it reflects poorly on your brand.

Remember

GTB is a platform to help YOU grow and succeed.

Let’s work together to make it a place where everyone thrives.
